SUMMARY:Strengthening Loss & Damage Research Capacity in Global South (STRENGTH)
DESCRIPTION:Launch of the new Loss & Damage Research project titled: ‘Strengthening Loss & Damage Research Capacity in Global South (STRENGTH)’ today\, 9th November from 13:30-15:00 PM (GMT+2) at the Bangladesh Pavilion (Blue Zone). \n\nThis session will bring together a high level panel of policymakers and government officials from the 4 main country partners (Bangladesh\, Rwanda\, Nepal and Vanuatu) to discuss their country perspectives and way forward. The project’s general objective is to understand and address the knowledge and capacity gaps of most vulnerable countries in the Global South so that they are better able to develop country level L&D policy and implementation mechanisms.
